Meet Our Founder
At Castle Coaching, we are proud to introduce our founder, Andrew Sharples, an industry expert with over 20 years of experience in the people development, talent management and organisational psychology fields.
Andrew is a seasoned organisational psychologist, and accredited executive coach. Andrew has held senior roles with some of the largest and most influential organisations in the UK, companies such as Aviva, John Lewis, Tokio Marine-Kiln, and The Openwork Partnership. Andrew has been responsible for building and leading talent management & learning functions, he has developed behavioural, leadership and performance processes and strategies, managed business facing HR teams, and has recently built and run a business school for a large financial advisory network.
Currently, our founder is a senior strategic talent leader for BAE Systems and it is this breadth of industry and specialist knowledge that makes him a leading expert in the people and organisational development fields.
Andrew has been coaching individuals at all organisational levels for over a decade, he is selective with his appointments and takes his coaching relationships very seriously.
Our Approach
At Castle Coaching, we believe in providing personalised coaching services for personal development, career progression, and leadership. Our coaching sessions are tailored to individual goals and obstacles, with program durations that can vary from a few months to over a year. We focus on developing real world solutions, based on specific personal or business goals and challenges. We use sophisticated people processes combined with emotional intelligence, resilience, effective communication, performance and goal setting, skills development, and networking strategies. Our leadership coaching includes strategic thinking, team management, systems thinking, decision-making, inspiring others and understanding leadership limits.
We are experts in Resilience coaching, overcoming personal barriers, understanding career goals and setting objectives, performance management, dealing with business/role related trauma, leadership development, developing leadership strategies, the design of talent programmes and processes, developing people strategies and behavioural frameworks.
